Exploring Within presents our first Community Hike & Silent Disco Nature Dance experience at Pololu Valley. The Exploring Within Silent Disco experience is designed to inspire joy, healing, well-being, release, freedom, acceptance, creativity, self-love, community, authentic expression, and genuine connection.
Come join us ~at Pololu Valley, November 26th from 12:00PM-2:30PM~ on a beautiful outdoor dance floor in paradise, as we create & dance freely by the ocean with noise-canceling wireless headsets to restore our minds, bodies, and hearts with movement & music and as our medicine. Our intention is to help foster genuine connections to self, others, and nature through our immersive events.
Experience the magic of Hawaii with friends and family in a unique way. Our events are a safe space for you to move and dance however you please, for there is no right or wrong way. Allow yourself to be moved by the music. Unleash your inner child. Trust yourself as you explore new movements. Exploring Within will free you to listen to your own body, flow with your emotions, and connect with your inner self, nature, and the world around you on a deeper level. All ages are welcome. Just as you are, you are welcome here.
IMPORTANT Notes:
Reminder to please arrive 5-10 minutes early for parking/check-in
We will meet at the Pololu Valley Overlook Trailhead
We will provide wireless noise-canceling silent disco headsets at the trailhead that will all be connected to the same channel for a fully immersive experience. Our dance experience will begin once we arrive at the bottom of the mountain and reach the valley below. We will be dancing right by the ocean on a black-sand beach
Our hike down to the valley will begin at 12:15 PM after a light stretch and introductions at check-in
The Pololu Valley hike is a .09-mile out-and-back trail
It takes about 20-30 minutes to hike each way (about 40-60 minutes total depending on level of physical experience, we encourage everyone to take their time to be really present and take as much time as they need)
The exploring within dance experience will last about an hour once we are all gathered together
You are free to go for a swim afterwards or hike back up
We will be staying to enjoy an afternoon picnic at the valley and encourage you to stay, make new friends, and share snacks in community
Please bring your own water to stay hydrated & snacks to stay nourished for the hike & dance
Bring bathing suits if you would like to go for a swim after the dance experience
